BC Pets was founded by a married couple in 2020, when everything was turned upside down due to a world pandemic called Covid. With a love for all our four legged or winged companions, and the need to have an online “no contact” pet supply shop that is still personalised like the corner pet shop in the neighborhood, they started the small business with the hopes that it could stand the test of time, literally.

The wife worked straight after school at a local vet where she gained valuable knowledge and experience. Following that, she also invested herself in horses. Riding and competing in local shows and also endurance riding, the ultimate test of balance and animal wellbeing. She completed a course in animal psychology, that also attributes to the understanding of all pets and ability to give advice where needed.

The husband is the business orientated input in the duo, he believes in the utmost highest quality service and strives to deliver above and beyond. He has completed various training in management and intensive business focused courses. The owners have an honest interest and love for animals, big or small. They stive to give exceptional service with each and every sale.
